About Blue Entrance Kitchen (BEK)
Blue Entrance Kitchen (abbreviated as BEK) is an original taco restaurant born in a small village on the beautiful west coast of Okinawa.
2020.
While restaurants around the world were suffering from the Corona disaster and closing one after another, we dared to choose the challenge of "creating new food values.
We want to create a restaurant that does not yet exist in the world.
BEK was born out of this strong desire.
“From Okinawa to the World” is the theme of the restaurant, which is a one-of-a-kind entertainment-type innovative restaurant that fuses Okinawan food culture, Mexican cuisine, and world cuisine.
The Art Of Creating New Tacos
All menu items are developed and supervised by the owner, who is from Okinawa.
By crossing Okinawa's chanpuru culture with world cuisines, the team has created a "new taco" never seen before.
Furthermore, in Tokyo, we continue to innovate and update our menu through team play, with an authentic Mexican chef with experience in Michelin-starred restaurants as our head chef.
The Core of BEK "Fermented Tortillas"
Unlike typical Mexican tortillas, BEK tortillas are fermented with yeast like bread.
Completely original, each piece is carefully baked by artisans in a dedicated kitchen.
The savory, fluffy and light texture is the symbol of BEK.
